Printmaking: Cyanotype

Join Irv Osterer as he takes you to the hands-on world of Cyanotypes

Studio activities will include:

Creating prints from cut/torn patterns from construction paper

Generating images from plants/flowers

Exposure of objects with a focus on Jewish jewellery and liturigical artifacts

Cyanotype painting

Complex negative construction ( acrylic paint on vinyl) based on a wide variety of art historical images of Moses

Receiving the Ten Commandments

Each class will require students to sensitize, expose and process their images.

No previous printmaking experience is required.

All supplies will be provided.

Mondays, july 6 - August 24 (no class on Aug 3) 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at KBI,

Safety protocols wlll be followed.
