Creative Connections meets in-person each Tuesday from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. Many of the program ideas are generated from the members themselves and where applicable, participants may take the lead on programs in areas of their interest or expertise.
Creative Connections is the only day program in Ottawa with consistent Jewish content: Jewish holidays are celebrated, Jewish learning takes place with invited scholars as presenters, and Jewish music, holidays and film are highlighted in the programming.
Participants need to be able to provide their own self-care.
Creative Connections is not a drop-in program – registration is required.
Cost
Membership in AJA 50+ is required to register for Creative Connections. To become a member, click here. Membership with AJA 50+ is $70 a year (Sept-Aug).
The fee for each 12 week session is $75. This includes lunch, snacks, chair exercise and at least two programs each Tuesday.
Transportation may be provided, subject to availability, at a cost to the participants.
