Printmaking: Collography

Join Irv Osterer as he takes you to the hands-on world of Collography.

A collograh is an additive printmaking technique. A printing plate is created by glueing a wide variety of textured materials to a rigid base. The plate is then sealed, manually inked and then printed on a soft, damp, high rag content paper, with an intaglio press, resulting in a rich, textured, dynamic print. We will be creating a numismatic image using LAG B'OMER as our theme.

No previous printmaking experience is required.

All supplies will be provided.

Mondays, May 11 to June 15 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at KBI,
